Well a little about me. My name is Zakir Hoosen but better know as Zak, and I currently run a software consultancy based on the Isle of Man.
I’ve been working on .net for awhile, and currently enjoy c#. I’ve been developing software professionally for round about 10 years and have worked within varied sectors. Here on the Isle of Man, I work closely with the Finance sector, building web applications, websites, desktop applications and development tools.
I enjoy what I do and enthusiastically love sharing with others. I do this through articles, chats and presentations at events such as the local BCS (British Computer Society) events and now also through this blog.
In my career, I’m fortunate to meet, not only some of the most interesting people, but I’ve also been fortunate enough to meet some of the industry “gurus”. I’m greatful for everything that I’ve managed to learn off everyone - no matter how big or small, technical or not.
