Hi all!

The IOM software developers (or dev Group : whichever you prefer) met on Wednesday 23rd September 2009 and discussed the Liskov substitution principle. This was part of the soLid series.

We zipped through a couple examples, touched on a couple inportant things … code to contracts, recap on the OCP…

Currently we’re looking at either the 14th or the 21st October 2009. I’ll confirm the date as soon as I can.
We’ll be covering the Interface segragation principle “….  client’s shouldn’t depend on methods that they do not use  …”

Again, if you have any questions or comments about this or other parts of the series (or software principles in general), feel free to ask.

DevG / Isle of Man software developers group monthly meetings

I’m trying to schedule the next one of the S.O.L.I.D principles - the Liskov substitution principle (LSP) - for the 23rd September 2009. It should be at the same place (Dimension data-Isle of man) and for around the same time - start at 6:30pm

The actual presentation shouldn’t be too long, although based on the previous ones, the actual discussions could go on.

If there’s anything from previous presentations, my BDD testing style (or anything else) that you’d like to discuss, please let me know.
